Billie Eilish Matches Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Freak for Their ‘Chicken Shop Date’
Billie Eilish really could eat that girl for lunch. The singer’s track, “Lunch,” off her new album feels especially relevant for her appearance on the latest episode of YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date. Clearly, Dimoldenberg was thinking the same thing. As she introduces the notably vegan star to her vegan chicken nuggets, she notes, “cause I’m not available on the menu yet” to which Eilish replies, “Damn, I was really hoping it could be you.” And that’s just the beginning of their flirtation.
Dimoldenberg sprays herself with Eilish’s Eau de Parfum and asks if it turns the singer on. Eilish doesn’t miss a beat before confidently admitting it does. The two then go back and forth about the perfume bottle’s design, which is a gold woman’s bust.
Despite what the internet had to say when it saw Eilish’s Aughts inspired outfit, the singer does have the swagger to match it. Dressed in a white oversized T-shirt, baggy blue jeans, and a forest green bandana with a backward baseball cap to match, Eilish leans into some masculine energy as she bites her lip and makes eyes at the host.
When Dimoldenberg again refers to “Lunch” and asks Eilish to explain the difference between a craving and crush, Eilish admits, “I get insane when I have a crush, I get absolutely insane.”
Things divulge even further into dangerous territory when the Chicken Shop Date host posits an interesting query: “If you were an ice cream cone, would you prefer to be licked or bitten?” Eilish immediately responds as if it’s a no-brainer: “Licked!” But then she re-thinks her answer when she asks Dimoldenberg if she’s speaking in metaphors. “You mostly lick it but then occasionally a little bite here and there,” is Eilish final answers as she blushes.
Finally, Dimoldenberg admits she’s going on another date right after her date with Eilish, even though this one has left her “happier than ever.” The two end the episode joking about Eilish joining the date. But after the sexual tension they built, it could easily turn serious.
It comes as no surprise that Eilish could match Dimoldenberg’s known freak. In fact, the young star has spoken up about being more open about her desires. “I basically talk about sex any time I possibly can. That’s literally my favorite topic. My experience as a woman has been that it’s seen in such a weird way. People are so uncomfortable talking about it, and weirded out when women are very comfortable in their sexuality and communicative in it. I think it’s such a frowned-upon thing to talk about, and I think that should change,” Eilish told Rolling Stone in her May cover story.
